Mighty Muffin made a huge debut this year at the Arnold Sports Festival and I have been seeing them all over my IG feed lately. Coincidentally, I also received a Mighty Muffin in my monthly WODbox (which I will review in a later post). So far I have tried Double Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter & Maple Pumpkin. Let me start by saying that these are *healthy* muffins so don’t expect some decadent, gooey 5,000 calorie muffin. Although they do get pretty gooey from the melted chocolate and peanut butter chips!
Typically I am eating my breakfast at the office, so I want something that I can grab and run out the door with. These Mighty Muffins are absolutely PERFECT for that and about 23489435839x healthier than pop-tarts and any other grab-and-go option. They are made with whey protein to keep you full and are also high in fiber. While the muffin batter itself isn’t that rich- all the flavors I’ve tried have had either chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or maple chips to make the muffin sweet and melty.
I really have liked them all and its nice having different flavors so I don’t get bored with having the same one. These have been such an excellent choice for a low calorie breakfast that tastes like a cheat meal. I’m down to my final Mighty Muffin and went to their website to see where I could purchase more. They have a great feature on their website that tells you what places sell their products and which specific products they sell. Needless to say, I will be banging on GNC’s door here after work today to get my fix.
I highly recommend these to anyone who is trying to clean up their diet but doesn’t want to eat egg whites and protein shakes on the daily. The pictures attached are from my Chocolate Peanut Butter Mighty Muffin. Now, go buy these here!
