Slap Nutrition Review

I’ve tried a LOT of supplements in my time but one product that I love and trust is my Slap Nutrition products. BTW- I’m completely unaffiliated with Slap Nutrition but they are having a HUGE sale right now on all their products at Prior to Slap Nutrition, I was an advocate of Cellucor, 1stPhorm protein specifically Peanut Butter Marshmallow and CTC respectively. I also had some of the Advocare Shakes as well. This all changed when I decided to put more of an emphasis on the things I was putting into my body and the effects or non-effects of those products. One thing that separates Slap Nutrition from the rest of the companies out there is their impressive level of customer service. I won’t spoil any of the surprises that come along with making a purchase from Slap, but just know it will be worthwhile.

Cinnamon Swirl Protein: This is my absolute favorite flavor. It blends will, has a great texture and is  made up of only 4 ingredients which are NON-GMO Cold Processed Ultra Micro-Filtered Whey Isolate, Natural Flavors, Xanthan Gum & Stevia. There’s also an explanation as to what each ingredient is all about and why they are in there. When you compare this product to others out there, you will see it has significantly less ingredients in Slap than other protein options out there.

Super Slapfood Cider & Harvest Flavors: Don’t make my pick a favorite because I honestly cannot decide! I will tell you that apple is more apple flavored than apple cider flavored though. If I absolutely had to guess what flavor harvest tastes like the most, I would say a cherry/berry flavor. As far as the ingredients are concerned there are too many to list but again, all are clean ingredients and this product specifically focuses on getting you the fruits and vegetables you need. This product mixes well with water but if you let it sit too long, you will have some of the mix fall to the bottom of your shaker or glass.

Salted Caramel BCAA: Just buy it. I have nothing but the best things to say about this amazing product. The flavor is fantastic, again it has minimal ingredients with a very clean approach. BCAA’s are great for pre- and post- workout. It’s great for exercise endurance and to aid in muscle relief and fatigue. You absolutely cannot beat the taste of the Salted Caramel BCAA but if you’re a hater you can get the L-Glutamine which is flavorless and can easily be mixed with whatever your preference is.

Are these supplements for protein? Or other nutrients? I could just Google it but you already know so I’m asking you lol

Hi Kristin! The first product is a whey protein supplement. The Super Slapfood could be compared to any fruit/vegetable nutrient supplement. It contains ingredients such as spirulina powder, wheat grass and sprout powder, spinach leaf powder and a lot of micro-nutrients similar to what you would get if you ate those things on a daily basis. There are about 20 other fruit/vegetable derived ingredients in both slap foods. The company also offers a few pre-workout supplements to fuel a workout, alpha amino’s & glutamine supplements for post-workout (aids in muscle recovery and reducing soreness after a workout). They will also be releasing vitamins soon as well from what I’ve read.

Why use supplements when real food gives you what you need? [all except the flavor of caramel and cinnamon buns, I guess.] Just saying. For my money, actual food that grows is the best thing you can put in your body. Hope those supplements do the trick for you.
